The Technical Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining Buyer profiles working closely with the Program Manager and Buyer Technical Consultant to deliver a complete solution, including testing and file connectivity, within defined timescales.
 
If you have:
• Good command of English
• Analytical skills
• Multi-tasking capabilities
• Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or Mathematics
• Innovative approach to work
• Good organization skills
• Attention to details
• Experience in accounts payable or finance will be advantage
• Experience in accounting systems/Excel/Perl/EDI/XML/ANSI would be an advantage

•Excellent user of Microsoft Packages-especially Excel
•Knowledge of invoicing or accounting systems preferred
•Perl or similar programming language
•Data file formats e.g. EDI, SAP, SAV
•Network and communications protocols including HTTP(S), WebServices / SOAP, FTP / SFTP, AS2

Some of the responsibilities you'll have:
 
•Create new Buyer maps, using in-house tools, according to Buyer specification provided
•Update and rework Buyer maps as a result of changes in the Buyer, Fiscal or System requirements •Specify and document post-processor requirements in conjunction with Buyer File Processing delivery system
•Test post-processors
•Create post-processors according to specifications provided and to ensure these adhere to current standards
•Ensure correct version control applied and documented to all maps and post-processors
•Create and maintain Buyer Specific libraries for communication to other departments
•Accurately move Buyer profiles from Staging to Production server
•Build effective working relationships with all members of the company and in particular those of the Programme Management team
•Report any technical, fiscal or other concerns in a timely manner
•Set and achieve realistic target dates for each task managing own workload
•Assist with creating a Buyer knowledge base to include master maps and training material for other colleagues
•Ensure Assist with development of new projects planned as part of the in-house system
•Providing L2 support for buyer technical issue.
